Monarch butterfly. The term "monarch" is not a proper noun, so it should not be capitalized.
'Pleidiol wyf im Gwlad' translates as 'I Pledge my Country', and is the English-imposed motto on the three-plumed crest of the Prince of Wales. It is also to be found embossed around the rim of Welsh pound coins. Needless to say, the Welsh pledge no such thing to the English Royal house- the motto was adopted upon the assumption of the title 'Prince of Wales' by the English monarch's eldest male heir, in Welsh to give the impression that the Welsh people were, indeed, prepared to pledge their nation to the English Crown. They're not, and never have been!!
The Welsh Devolved Government is effectively a Parliamentary government with no monarch, but Wales remains a smaller part of the the UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND(UK). The UK is a constitutional monarchy and all of its parts, including Wales, are part of that monarchy.
