Traditionally the head of Ireland's Catholics is the Archbishop of Armagh, and whoever holds that position becomes a cardinal. So the cardinal in Ireland is normally in Armagh. However, a former Archbishop of Dublin is also a cardinal at this time. Cardinal Sean Brady is the Archbishop of Armagh.
