The best rock singer is Paul Rodgers, he has a smooth, full, strong voice that's perfect for whatever he wants to use it for.

Though if you want the best singer EVER listen to Taylor Swift. Er, Jim Morrison was not only a great singer, he was smart. I don't believe Paul Rodgers has anything at all on Mick Jagger, who is still the best Rock vocalist. Oh, and for some strange reason, you didn't mention Paul McCartney.
