The founder of Dema community in Andoni Local Government Area, Rivers State Nigeria is late Chief JOB OGBILIKAN about 1772. The founder was a member of the native court of Opobo in the eastern government of Nigeria during the British colony. He obtained his warrant certificate in 1921. He died in 1938 , Mr. Andrew OFFENGOR was asked by the kinsmen to act till his first son (Lambert)will be through with his education. His first son HRH LAMBERT JOB OGBILIKANA was enthroned in 1980 unanimously by the other five sons of the founder od DEMA chief JOB OGBILIKANA namely JACOB, ROBISON,SOKARI,JEREMEIAH, and MINA. JOB OGBILIKAN. CHIEF JOB OGBILIKANA has about 13 female and plenty servants whom he bought with his money. HRH LAMBERT JOB OGBILIKANA died in 1980. The remaining three brothers Jeremiah, sokari and Robinson were alive then , only mina died during LAMBERT's reign. Jeremiah and Robinson were strong clergy men of God. Sokari could ascend the throne nor have the opportunity to rule because he was a traitor, he joined force with strangers to take the throne from LAMBERT. Lambert defeated them in the law courts. Both JEREMIAH and ROBINSON agreed that the throne been given to one CLEOPAS ANTHONY on regent basis until the son (ADAH) of Jeremiah who was a medical student in university of Maiduguri Borno state will be through with his education. Chief CLEAPAS ANTHONY acted in the capacity of reagent from 1980 to 1991 when he was dethroned due to gross misconduct. The first son (ADAH) of Jeremiah who was in medical school when Chief Cleopas was asked to act as reagent was chosen in 1991. ADAH a medical doctor with rivers state government was crowned the OKAN AMA V of Dema in 1992. Adah ruled for 19 years and died in 2011. He was buried on December 1st in the year2012, his cousin Pastor JACOB WILFRED JOB OGBILIKANA from Jacob's linage was enthrone on the same day. He was crowned by Elder Jacob Ofaragwung a descendant of one of the Job Ogbilikana servants. The rituals was performed by the Unyeada and andoni chiefs. The only two government recognized chiefs in ANdoni HRH DR ISREAL I U OTIO the (okan ama unyeada XI) and HRH DR U D UJUILE (the okan ama Ngo) were present.
