Modern Warefare 2 will allow you to play multi player in special ops although multi player is still not available on campaign mode. On xbox live you cant play multi player either. Yes it does suck that you cant play with your friend but its still really fun to hang out while you play single player.

No. Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) is not a game for a 10 year-old child. Mainly because this is a M rated game which means that you need to be over the age of 18 to buy it and if your child has Xbox live they will be subjected to massive amounts of swearing and derogatory terms and it isn't an environment for a child of that age

Yes, people may still enjoy modes such as Zombies which is not avaliable in Modern Warefare 3. Players may also find quick scoping annoying, so they find themselves going back to Black Ops, but more people play MW3 just because it is new.
