Urbano Escobar lived 125 years, from 1848 to 1973. Descendent from an indigenous Mexican mother and grandfather from Spain, he lived most of his life in Vera Cruz, Mexico and was known as a healer that used natural and organic treatments.
He was married to Virginia Alcantara, also indigenous Mexican from Vera Cruz, Mexico and is survived by many descendants including granddaughter Lisa Jimenez-Escobar, and great granddaughter Sacnyte Jimenez.
