Sikhs believe that there is only one god. They believe that he is the Supreme being whose name is true. However, Sikhs do also believe in ten gurus and then the Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.The word guru means teacher. The eleven gurus are not god, they are believed to be the sons of god. Those that allowed Sikhs to come into realisation and discover this faith and mostly discover the existence of god.
