India is two chamber parlamentary system. The Legislative branch or the Parliament consists of the lower house, the Lok Sabha, and the upper house, the Rajya Sabha (same as it is in UK). Lok Sabha is the general assembly of the elected MP's. The Chairman is the chief of the Lok Sabha
