Via Artis Konsort is an international Early Music ensemble playing innovative music from the borderland between early classical and modal world music traditions. The ensemble is formed by skilled musicians from the Scandinavian countries, Spain and Latin America, with the city of Odense, Denmark as an official base. The ensemble was founded in 2004 and has offered more than 300 concerts in Europe and Latin America since then. The musicians of the ensemble are all professional classical performers.
Via Artis Konsort has released two critically awarded album on the independent record labelPARLA son: Via Stellae (2008) and Crosswork (2012). A third album containing a selection of beautiful 15th century Burgundian love songs is currently under preparation.
