Numerous companies made guns for Montgomery Wards, and marked them with Ward's Western Field brand. Among others, Mossberg, Savage, Stevens, Remington Colt, Marlin, Kessler and Noble. They didn't make it, of course, there was no "Montgomery Wards Firearms Factory", they were made for Wards by one of the big manufacturers, most likely Savage, but if it's a really top-end one, possibly Parker. In the end, it is worth what you can get for it.
