Dmitri Mendeleev and Lothar Mayer (independently).
I can find only two types The Mendeleves Periodic table based on Atomic weight of elements and The Modern Periodic table based on Atomic number of elements.
Atomic Number
Metal is located throughout the periodic table. The periodic table is based on atomic weight. Metals range from some of the lightest to the heaviest of elements.
The large number on the periodic table is the atomic number. There is a smaller number that is the atomic weight. For example, Titanium's atomic number is 22 and its atomic weight is 47.867.
atomic no
The modern periodic table is arranged according to the elements' atomic numbers.
No element has an atomic weight of 19.32 on the periodic table.
Atomic weight.
Modern periodic table is based on modern periodic law which states that physical and chemical properties of elemnts are periodic function of their atomic numbers.
Mendeleev created the first periodic table based on atomic weight. He observed that many elements had similar properties, and that they occur periodically, hence the name, periodictable. From this, he made the periodic law.
The present periodic table is arranged in order of increasing atomic numbers not the atomic weights , before modern periodic law the elements were arranged on the basis of atomic weights.
The periodic table is based on an element's number of atoms. The elements are arranged from least to most number of atoms.
