Well, no use pointing the finger at whoever you see- it's the following, mainly:
I could be said that food and drink companies are to blame for helping child obesity become such a world wide problem however, no one is forced to eat of drink these food types.
While it may not be what we want to hear, I believe parents are to blame fo much of the child obesity problems we are faced with.
There are just so many products now which contain much more sugar than we need, and sugar is the one main ingredient responsible for obesity in children and adults.
We as parents owe it to our kids to take responsibility for what they eat, and where ever possible encourage more healthy eating habits and foods.
Sorry if this is not the answer you are looking for.
People these days should control their sugar intake. More that 2 tbs of sugar a day in a major cause in obesity. Also jobs where you just sit around a computer is very unhealthy for the body. Daily exercise is recommended by Health Canada. If people ate healthily and exercised, there would be less obesity so technically it is their own fault!

No. Restaurants are there to sell food. They are businesses. The people responsible for childhood obesity are the parents and the children.
i think that it is the fast food places
obesity
None. OA is caused by ageing, obesity, genetics and joint injuries not muscles.
Absolutely yes! Child obesity leads to weight problems as adults, and we know that obesity is responsible for too many premature deaths i9n the world. We must do something for our kids, otherwise we are setting them up for life long health problems and potentially shorter lives that they deserve.
Left untreated, child obesity leads to adult obesity. Obesity in adults is responsible for premature death or disability in many people world wide (Fact - More people die world wide from being over weight than underweight - World Health organization stats). Child obesity is completely preventable, and if nothing is done to correct diets as a child, our children are being set up for health problems in their adult lives.

Yes. Changing diet, and reducing sugar from children's diets will help reduce child obesity immensely. Sugar (in particular Fructose) is now known to be responsible for being the main cause of obesity world wide. Identifying and removing foods with Fructose (raw, or refined sugars as we know them) in them is enough to make a change in obesity. If exercise can be added to a child's day, that helps ever more.
How about "Obesity".
Left untreated, child obesity leads to weight issues in adult life. Obesity is responsible for far too many deaths and disabilities world wide, so reducing the risk of this is one of the main reasons to do something about reducing child obesity. So too, over weight children may also be subjected to harassment and bullying issues, and potentially at risk of mental health and esteem issues, all of which are debilitating.
What leads to obesity
There's obesity everywhere.
