America was not a nation prior to 1776. Portions of it were originally ruled by Native Americans and later by European colonists. The 13 colonies that became the United States of America was ruled by Britain directly before they declared their independence in 1776.
The US did not have a president before 1789, let alone 1776. There was no country state with a president before 1776. Many places were instead ruled by monarchs.
The United States of America were never ruled by a monarch. The American Colonies were under British rule until the revolution in 1776, however.
George Washington was the leader of America in 1776... :D
After 1776, the American colonies ruled themselves under The Articles of Confederation. It was the original Constitution of the U.S., which was later replaced by the U.S. Constitution in 1789.
1776
You've got it alittle reversed; "Before America's involvement in Vietnam it had been invaded and ruled..." by only 3 or 4 nations (not "all"); China, France, Japan.
July 4th 1776
1776
Do you mean 1776, when the Founding Fathers fought the British and established a republic? 476 was way before the Europeans colonized America, so the fact that you placed this question in the American Revolution section suggests you meant 1776, apologies if not the case.
No king has ruled the continent of America. There have been kings, or the equivalent, of some countries in America.

In 1776.
