Not sure where you can get it, but the consumer hotline # is 1 800 248-6657 and the part # for the battery is JDB240R.
I haven't been able to find them and figure that it is probably just as good to pay $39.95 for another drill at Sam's Club. The battery would probably cost that much anyway and this way you have two drills.
Just spoke to Allied at the above phone number. Batteries cost $22.00 + shipping. Shipping for one to Wichita, Kansas is $8.27. Buy two batteries for $44.00 and shipping is $9.16 for two of them. The $44.00 is about what you pay with tax for the drill at Sam'a Club. It depends what you choose to do. Be proud this is America, and you can still choose.
