The proposed site is made up of two buildings. One, a former Burlington Coat Factory building on Park Place, was purchased by developers in 2009. The other attached building is still owned by the New York Utility, Con Edison. That building is presently being rented by the mosque promoters. You can see the location at the links provided below and a discussion about the sale and proposed use.

yea
Yes, in the sense that people are arguing about it. No in the sense that there is no mosque, it's actually a Muslim community center that has a worship area in it and it is actually quite a ways away from ground zero.
Reportedly, Park 51, the name for the proposed mosque and cultural center, will cover 150,000 square feet and stand approximately 13 to 15 stories high. The president hasn't commented on whether he supports the location of the mosque, just the right for people to worship there.
Not that many, i think i heard that only 30% agreed with building the mosque there.
i will tell you the name it is ilamtara kayfafala
They decided to controversially build the mosque right next to Ground Zero.
Actually, it's not a mosque, it's a community centre. And, actually it's not at Ground Zero, it's several blocks away.
When the 9/11 happened people automatically blamed Muslims, and since the Islamic center an mosque is made for Muslims, ( and near the deaths of so many people, who people assumed that Muslims did this ) so having a mosque near ground zero didn't exactly make them happy
I personally don't know what the actual cartoon looks like but it probably deals with someone not agreeing with the mosque being built near ground zero. In my opinion people need to let go of ignorant bigotry and stop thinking all the Muslims are to blame.
the zero property in math is when you multiply by zero which is the multiplicative property of zero or it is when you add zero to anything and get zero that is called the additive property of zero
As of September 10th, 2010, Park51, the Islamic community center about two blocks from Ground Zero, is still planned to be built.
