Is there a difference between a catholic Bible ans a born again christian Bible?

same bible differant beliefs about that bible for example catholics would tell you that the woman giving birth to God's son is Mary whereas the born again christian would say that the woman is a symbolic representation of isriel the christian group with an entirely differant bible in addition to the bible of Jesus would be the Mormons * Well I'm not sure about that (above) the born again Christians I know would say Mary is the woman who gave birth to God's son Jesus. Catholics revere Mary and pray to Mary ask Mary for forgiveness, born again Christians believe Jesus is their advocate before God. Anyway the bibles are the same except sometimes the Catholic Bibles have some additional books, often called the apocrypha.

Out of the 12 disciples in the Bible who was the most loyal to God?

peter was the one who reconized jesus after he died and came back to life so it was peter. Judas was pre-determined to betray Jesus. He was called by God to perform this act that was prophesied. If he refused God's calling he would have been disloyal to God. If Abraham was not stopped by the angel would he have still killed his son? If God did not want Judas to heed his calling would he have not dispatched an Angel to stop Judas? Judas did not hear the cock crow 3 times as he denied his affiliation with Jesus. Judas did not run away from Jesus as Pilot's men descended upon Jesus. Judas brought Pilot's men to Jesus. Once again, Judas was instrumental to fulfilling God's plan. Good instance of Pre-determination verses Free Will.

Why are there two different versions of Jesus birth in the bible?

One theory is that the Matthew gospel was written "with an agenda" to make sure that Jesus's story fulfilled all the old testament predictions for the messiah. One example is arranging for Jesus to be born in Bethlehem because of the Roman census (there was a prediction that the messiah would be born in Bethlehem). There was a census around that time, but long after Herod had died (Herod died in 4BC, the census was, ISTR in 7AD). In any case, it's pretty unlikely that people would have to return to their ancestor's birthplace from 1000 years previously for a census; what would be the point?

Will Jesus come back in the next four years?

A:Every few years we hear rumours and stories of Jesus' impending return, but these prophecies never come true. Once again, Jesus will not return in the next four years. The apostle Paul reveals in his epistles that he confidently expected Jesus to return in his own lifetime. This was taken up by Mark's Gospel, which has Jesus tell his listeners that Jesus would return on clouds of glory within the lifetime of some of those then present, even describing the terrible events of the First Roman-Jewish war as heralding that return. Over the centuries and right down to the present day, there have been expectations of Jesus' imminent return. In a thousand years time, any Christians will still be waiting expectantly for Jesus to return soon.

In which city is Jesus said to be buried?

Jesus was buried in Jerusalem. On the third day he arose and appeared to different deciples at different times. Among many witnesses, he arose to heaven and an angel told the witnesses that this same Jesus would one day return again.

Would Jesus really come as Christians believe?

Christians have believed in the imminent return of Jesus since the early days of the Church. Mark's Gospel has Jesus predict his return during the lifetime of his own disciples' generation. By the time the other gospels were being written, it was beginning to be clear that this prophecy would not be met, and each subsequent gospel paid less attention to his return within the current generation. Christians continued to expect an imminent return of Jesus. A major expection was that he would return at the start of the new millennium, in 1000 CE. Jehovah's Witnesses have identified several specific years when Jesus would return, with disappointment in each case. Today, many Christians believe that he will return 'soon', but accept that 'soon' is not necessarily during their own lifetimes. Others say that Jesus has died and will not return.

Will Jesus really return in 2015 or is this another failed prediction?

It is not for us to know the hour or day that Christ will return. For those that are ready they won't be taken by surprise. While Jesus was on earth the disciples asked Him when He would return and He said He didn't know, only the Father in heaven knows.

Was Jesus seen on earth other than in a vision by anyone after he ascended?
