Four grades of school were set up; primary, secondary, lycées (schools run on military lines) and technical schools. Peasants; Napoleon made sure that they could keep their land by eradicating Feudalism not to mention defeating the Austrians, Russians, Prussians & so on....
No country in Europe benefitted from French rule in the Napoleonic era. They were either forced into unwilling alliance by military intimidation, or had their rulers forcibly deposed and replaced by members of Napoleon's family, who had no right to these thrones, and certainly were no better as rulers.

Napoleon Bonaparte was thought of as a great leader, a power hungry one but a great one. Napoleon improved France's economy when he took power, he built up its military and brought it more land by conquering it and brought France its power back once and for all.
