at the age of 12 years,babur inherited the kingdom of Farghana,in Afganistan.he had ambitions of conquering his ancestral kingdom of Samarkand,but after three uncessful attempts,he return to Kabul,and become ruler in 1504.in 1526 babur entered India with a small but capable army and defeated the ruler Ibrahim Lodhi in the battle.Babur died at the age of 47 years and buried in Kabul.
