General Garibaldi came to the US with a myriad of cousins. Augusto and Felice Gabrielli from Pieve di Brancoli, about 7 kilometers from Lucca and other relatives also, namely Frank and Angelo Garibaldi who settled in Amador County, California as ranchers, farmers and gold miners. The Gabrielli's were some of the early settlers to Sacramento, California. Augusto worked for the Southern Pacific Raliroad and Felice became a farmer earning gold medals from the California Agricultural Society for growing the finest fruits and vegetables in the state in the 1870's. Felice had 5 children, John, killed in WWI, Mary, who married her 1st cousin, Frank Garibaldi, Antone, Frank and Fiore. Fiore had 2 sons, Anthony and Felix, both deceased. Anthony (Tony) had 2 daughters, Lorelei and Mary. Lorelei had 6 children, Bruce, Kelly, Steven, Sally, Martha, and Julie Olin. Mary had 2 children, Anthony (Tony) and Natalie. Natalie has 2 sons, Erik and Daniel. Lorelei lives in Sacramento with her children (in surrounding areas)and grandchildren and Mary lives in Queen Creek, Arizona with her children and grandchildren.
