Jacqueline Kennedy was born Jacqueline Lee Bouvier, the first of two daughters of a prominent Wall Street stock broker, John Vernou Bouvier III, and Janet Norton Lee. Around the time Jacqueline Bouvier met then Representative John F. Kennedy, she was an inquiring photographer for the Washington-Times Herald.
