Pachacuti Inca Yupanqui was born in 1438 and died in 1471. His reign of the Kingdom of Cusco took place from 1438 to 1471 or 1472. He was succeeded by Tupac Inca Yupanqui.
His name was Pachacuti Inca Yupanqui. He was the ninth king in the 1450's.
Pachatuti, son of Inca Viracocha, was the fourth of the Hanan dynasty. His wife's name is given as Mama Anawarkhi or Coya Anahurque. He had two sons: Amaru Yupanqui and Tupac Inca Yupanqui.
