Wally Lock came from Northfleet and in the days when Brands Hatch was a grass circuit had some degree of success. He rode at one point an OHC AJS R7 in the mid twenties in fact I remember seeing a photo at work of him on this bike. I knew Wally quite well in the late seventies, in fact his brother was my Foreman, and I had lots of conversations about his racing days. He worked for Schwezio's in Dartford and raced briefly at Brands after it was tarmaced.
