My opinion is the Spanish Amanda because they were the ones that had all of the ships, men, weapon's...

Sines quite a few years Phillip ii was asking Elizabeth to be his wife but Elizabeth always refuse Phillip was from Spain so he made the Spanish Armada. They say that the had been preparing for the invasion to England for 30 years so they were convinced they were going to win.

Mary I of Scotland had Elizabeth's Royal blood so she was her cousin. She was entitled to the throne so she wanted Elizabeth to go so that was Elizabeth's problem. Also the people of England was mostly Catholic and so was Mary so that is a very big advantage.

Spanish Armada was it a great victory or not?

Depends what you mean by 'great victory'. The outcome was that desired by the English, i.e. The threat of Spanish invasion was stopped. The tactics used by the English generally were correct - they couldn't grapple closely with the larger Spanish ships so their superior gunnery kept up bombardment from a distance. The English also took advantage of the wind to send fireships into the Spanish fleet at an anchorage from which it was difficult for the Spanish to escape. No large-scale action by the English defeated the Spanish, so from that point of view there was no large-scale military victory, but once the Spanish ships had scattered and were beset by Atlantic storms, failure of the Armada was assured.

Why did the British ships defeat the Spanish armada?

The English navy defeated the Spanish Armada because their ships were smaller and lighter than Spain's heavy galleons. The English's navy darted around the Armada firing cannon after cannon until the Spanish finnally gave up and headed home. On their way home, however, a massive storm hit them and less than half of the fleet made it home alive.

Why Was Queen Elizabeth I a bad queen?

She wasn't any more good or bad during the Elizabethan times than any other English monarch. She was able to hold Britain together in the face of extreme pressure from Spain. The Spanish invasion fleet, the Armada, being just one example. No, it was the times she lived in. The constant threat of intrigue (even in her own court) and being overthrown that needed her to be strong (and sometimes ruthless).
