That would depend on the country, but in the US there were more than 11.5 million young men drafted for military service in WW-II. They came from every social class, race and religion. There were 37 thousand classified as conscientious objectors who performed some type of alternative service.

  • In WW2 there was two main powers the Axis and the Allies. In the Axis the main countries were Germany, and many other countries which were in the small German empire. In the Allies there was the United Kingdom, France, The United States of America and many other countries in Europe. Russia was mainly fighting for themselves but was considered to be on allied sides when they pushed Germany back to their country. Japan was also independent fighting for themselves to be the better county so they had to defeat the USA.
