Mohammed's first object was the independence for women which he hated. Pre-Islamic Arabic women never wore the Hijab (cloak) or Nikab (mask). It was Muhamad that forced these practices on Muslim ladies and pushed them in to a zenana or Ladies quarters. But the first lady who died recorded in Muslin history was not killed by Muhamad or any muslin. He was Sumayya bint Khubbāt, Rady Allāhu 'Anhā who became the first martyr of Islām.
