Michael Jackson
I think so too. MJ is the most successful recording artist ever and we miss him!
I agree, Michael Jackson and Jesus are more popular. But Beatles are the best band ever
People should not compare musical artists due to the fact that most create music not for the audience, but for reflecting their opinions on certain things. Most of the time the music is about socially accepted ideas, whereas others are not, thus leading to harsh criticism. But on a scale of popularity, and record sales, Michael Jackson is most certainly on the same level as The Beatles. But once again, they created music with different opinions, and meaning, let alone the different circumstances they were under. The Beatles coming from four poor boys in a nothing town and then becoming the inspiration for most all musical artists and broke up after only eight years of making it big time. And then Michael, who broke off from an already hugely successful band s a child, his first solo hit being at the age of 13, and then going through major album releases, and undertaking harsh criticism from the media. The time in which they were each popular made a difference, due to society's views, and what makes right from what makes wrong. Finally, the fact that Michael was able to be exposed to many different people, whereas The Beatles were seeing the same faces everyday over and over again, played a part in the time period in which they were able to create hits. Other than Michael Jackson, maybe....NO ONE!!
P.S.:
Elvis Presley was of course a major artist, but, once more, society's influence was very different, and created a barrier for comparisons such as these.

Personally, I would say its probably a tie. Elvis is more collected than the Beatles. But the Beatles are 100 times more talented. But, its up to you. Most people would say Elvis. But, as I said, its a tie in my opinion.
Unfortunately, I think sales-wise the Beatles are more popular than Bob Dylan. Which doesn't make any sense at all. Dylan's songs actually had something interesting to say, whereas the Beatles' songs never did. The Beatles only sold more because their music is more typically commercial than Dylan's, not because it's better.
of course Michael Jackson was better then the Beatles.
Michael Jackson was the king of pop the Beatles was just another band. :P
Yes
The Monkees were extremely popular with younger siblings of Beatle fans.MP
Yes and no. The Beatles sold more albums overall and have held a greater influence in popular culture, but the Monkees have held their own and then some in album sales and general influence.
The Monkees
the beatles already are more popular than green day
The Beatles due to being more popular and "Beatlemania"
THE BEATLES! Yeah, yeah, yeah

In late 1965 an ad was run in Los Angeles looking for young men to possibly be in a television series. The Monkees were created from the men who auditioned from this ad. The first television episode and the first records of the Monkees were issued in September 1966.
People will hate me for saying this, but ... the Monkees.
The Beatles were more popular, as they have sold more albums than Elvis.
The Beatles made Come Together in 1969, Michael covered it in 1987.
The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, The Beach Boys, The Monkees, The Supremes, and many more :)

The Monkees were a tv show, and also a band like the Beatles, including Michael Nesmith, Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork, and Davy Jones. A REAL SPOOF!!
In terms of record sales, The Beatles.
