Following the end of Worthington's term as Governor of Ohio, Ethan Allen Brown (born July 4, 1776 in Darien, Connecticut; died February 24, 1852 in Indianapolis, Indiana) became the seventh Governor of Ohio, serving between December 14, 1818 and January 4, 1822.
