The Mexican Indians, who were known as 'Aztecs', founded a great civilization whose capital, Tenochtitlan resided in the middle of the Texcoco Lake, around the territory where now stands Mexico City. The Aztecs sent another army and by means of a clever ruse defeated Atonal and had him garotted.
