I don't think that any President found the time to write a book while they were in office. Some, notably Carter, Obama and Kennedy wrote books before were elected President and some , such as Reagan kept diaries that were printed after they left office.
The first president to write a book while in office was Thomas Jefferson. He wrote the book "Notes on the State of Virginia," which was published in 1785.
Ulysses S. Grant was the first president to write his memoirs.
I believe US Grant was the first President to write about his wartime experiences.
You can write in anyone for any office on an election (just don't expect them to win as you will likely be the only person voting that way).
Pranab Kumar Mukherjee is the 13th and current President of India, in office since July 2012.
President Barack Obama is an incumbent becsuse he is currently in office
The office that handles such things is the Governor's office of your state. You would write a letter to them. The President also can do this, but you've a better chance at the state level. Keep in mind, that if it was a federal crime, it would then have to be pardoned by the President.
He wrote one book during his time as president: "Between Hope and History," which came out in September 1996. Just prior to getting elected, he wrote "Putting People First," in September 1992. Other books, including his autobiography, "My Life," came out after his two terms in office had concluded.
US Grant was probably the first president to write a book that sold well enough to make serious money and that was his memoirs.
Not consecutive terms. Only after another president serves can a former two-term president be put back into office after a successful write in campaign.
