This question has many answers. The Church (Catholic Church) considers that all of the Jewish Prophets and important Historical figures who figure predominantly in The Bible are Saints. However in terms of Christian saints, the first saint was probably St. Stephen Protomartyr, as he is known by his full title. Protomartyr meaning "first martyr". He is usniverally recognised as the first martyr for the christian faith, and therefore the first saint.

That question is impossible to answer as anyone in heaven is a saint. However, the title saint is usually applied to only personages from the New Testament. John the Baptist, St. Elizabeth, St. Zachary, St. Joseph, St. Anne, and St. Joachim are all saints who died before Our Lord was crucified, rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven. The deacon St. Stephen is credited as being the first martyr, having been stoned to death shortly after the Ascension of Our Lord.

No. There are many, many saints much younger than Joan of Arc. For example: the Holy Innocents who were killed by King Herod, St. Cyriacus who was martyred at 3 years of age, Maria Goretti at 11 years.

The Holy Innocents, the babies killed by King Herod, would have to be the youngest saints. Saint Quiricus , also known as Cyriacus, Qyriacus, Kuriakos, Keryakos, Kuriakose, Cyricus, Ciricus and Cyr) was martyred in AD 304 in Tarsus, at the age of 5. Saint Philomena died at about tha age of 13 or 14 as a martyr. In more recent times we have Saint Dominic Savio who died at the age of 15 and Saint Maria Goretti who died at age 11.
Other young people currently undergoing the canonization process are Venerable Antonietta Meo who died at age 6 in 1937 and Blessed Jose Luis Sanchez del Rio who was martyred at age 14 in the Cristero Wars of Mexico in the 1920s.

The answer to that question changes every few months. The most recent canonization (as of May, 2013) occured on May 12, 2103. At Mass for the Seventh Sunday of Easter, Pope Francis canonized 800 Martyrs from the Italian city of Otranto, along with two Latin American religious Foundresses, Mother Laura Montoya e Upegui - the first Colombian saint - and Mother Maria Guadalupe Garcia Zavala, from Mexico.

The Holy Innocents, all those babies killed by King Herod, are honored by the Church on December 28. In more recent times. Maria Goretti was canonized as a martyr. She was only 11 years old when she was raised to the altars. There are a few children even younger than Maria who may soon be declared as saints.

I do not have that answer. However, there have been a number of very young children who are named saints. First on the list are the Holy Innocents murdered by Herod while he was searching for the baby Jesus. In Sardina there was St. Cameron who was martyred at the age of 3. Then there was Saint Cyriacus of Iconium, about 5 years of age, son of St. Julitta, who was martyred about 304 along with his mother.

In recent years, the youngest saint canonized was Maria Goretti who was just 11 years old when she died. There are several even younger children who currently have causes for sainthood open in the Vatican.

The first saint would probably be Dismas, the good thief, who was crucified with Our Lord and repented while on the cross. Another possibility would be John the Baptist. Saint Stephen is counted as the first martyr.
