The outcome of this war for Iraq will ultimately mean freedom. America (with allied help) has freed Iraq of their tyrant leader and is aiding them with the creation of an army and new government. Unless President Obama pulls American troops out too early, in which case the people of Iraq will suffer great loses in terrorist attacks.
Because it was started under false pretences and has turned Iraq into a much worse mess than it was before the war, there is no doubt that Saddam was a horrible nasty leader, but were he still in power it is highly unlikely that Iraq today would be in the mess it is in after 5 years of American occupation. North Korea has a leader that is worse to it's people than Saddam was.
It is one of the worst reasons of all... revenge. If America really wanted to help Iraq they wouldn't have bothered them. How would America feel if Iraq came in and said they were gonna change everything up. And while America is "helping" Iraq by going to war with them many innocent people have died. And there families are filled with anger and easily brainwashed by AlQaida. Also anyone that is willing to commit terrorist…
Iraq claimed Kuwait was drilling at an angle for oil to get to oilfields which Iraq claimed were under their territory. They also claimed Kuwait was one of their provinces and sent their army to invade the country. Saddam Hussein was the leader of Iraq at the time. There is more to the story, but the posted question was only about who made the war start.
