The movie certainly had it's share of assassinations but I don't think any president was shot in the chest. President JFK was shot in the head. His brother Robert Kennedy was not president but was a candidate for the next presidential race. He was shot serveal times but I believe it was a head wound that killed him. Martin Luther King, Jr. was shot but he wasn't president. John Lennon was shot in the chest and Governer George Wallace was also shot but he lived in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
