plays back in Shakespeare's time were a very important part of life even the queen went to watch them. the weather played a huge part in the plays,if there was bad weather there would be nobody there except the richer people there were balconies for the rich noble people and the peasants were on the ground standing they were also known as the ground lings and no women were allowed to be in the plays so men had to play the women's part two.
