Most scientists do not believe in Biblical Creation, so there is no reason to tie it with the extinction of dinosaurs. However, Creationists often say that humans originally co-existed alongside dinosaurs until the Great Flood, when dinosaurs all drowned.

There may be some biblical accounts that are based on stories in older scriptures. Scholars say that the first creation story in Genesis 1:1-2:4a is based on a Babylonian creation myth that the Jews learnt during the Babylonian Exile. The biblical story of Noah's Flood is believed to be based on the story of Utnapishtim in the Gilgamesh Epic of Mesopotamia.

In Genesis, the earliest creation story is the second biblical creation story (Genesis 2:4b-25), attributed to an anonymous author now known as the Yahwist, believed to have lived in Judah around the tenth century BCE. Even before the Yahwist wrote this story down, it was probably circulating as an oral tradition. The first biblical creation story (Genesis 1:1-2:4a) is attributed to another anonymous author now known as the Priestly Source, who probably lived shortly after the end of the Babylon Exile, thus the fifth century BCE.For more information, please visit: http://christianity.answers.com/theology/the-story-of-creation

It is hard to find a fundamental difference between the individual biblical creation accounts and other creation stories. The first creation account in Genesis (Genesis 1:1-2:4a) is quite similar to the Sumerian creation story, which is generally accepted as having been encountered by the Jews during the Babylonian Exile. It has been noted that this creation account is typical of seaside cultures. The second creation account in Genesis is similar to older Canaanite creation stories. It has been noted that this creation account is typical of cultures in arid areas. There are fragments of another creation account in Job, Psalms and elsewhere in the Bible, that point to an ancient belief in chaos monsters. Again, much of the ancient Near East believed that the world originated in a dramatic struggle between good and chaos gods. For more information, please visit: http://christianity.answers.com/theology/the-story-of-creation

The Greek story of the actual creation resembles neither creation story in Genesis. However, Typhoeus is tricked into eating a fruit, and the Pandora myth often invites comparison with the biblical tale of Eve. Stephen P. Kershaw (A Brief Guide to the Greek Myths) says that over the centuries Eve appears to have been transformed into a Pandora figure, someone for men to be wary of, but that was not the original meaning of the biblical story.

It is a belief in the Bible as Scientifically accurate in its description of the Creation story. Biblical Creationism usually defines the earth as bing about 6000 years old, having been created in 6 days by the all powerful, all knowing, God of the Bible. The Bible here being the 1611 King James Bible.Biblical Creation is the belief that the Earth was created in 6 literal 24 hour days as described in the Bible.

The Koran is not a narrative, as is the Bible, and so does not set out a creation narrative. There are frequent references throughout the Koran to Adam and Eve, and to the biblical act of creation. The Islamic religious view of creation is essentially the same as the Judeo-Christian one.

The first biblical creation storyThe first biblical creation story, in Genesis 1:1-2:4a, is believed to have been written by the anonymous source now known as the Priestly Source. All of creation takes exactly six days. Light [day] was created on day 1; then the firmament, which was believed to separate the waters of the heavens from the lower waters; then by gathering the lower waters in one place the land appeared. Grasses and trees were created; sun; moon and stars - the lights in the firmament; fish, land creatures and fowl; finally man, both male and female. Of importance here is that both man and woman were said to have been created after all the other creation. The second biblical creation storyThe second biblical creation story, in Genesis 2:4b-20, is believed to have been written by the Yahwist, or 'J' Source. This story differs in content from the first, but also in tone, mood and orientation. Here man is created first, and only Eve is created after all other living things. The third biblical creation storyThis consists of fragments of a more primitive creation story, found in the Book of Psalms and the Book of Job. Although the third creation story is fragmented, there is enough detail remaining, to see that it is very similar to some early Mesopotamian creation stories, and scholars can thus recognise what the story would once have dealt with.By Job 38, God and Satan have failed in their attempts to defeat Job, and God angrily tells Job what he had accomplished and asks Job where he was when God did all this. In other words, by what right does Job place himself equal to God. In the beginning, God:laid the foundations of the earth;shut up the seas and said come no farther;commanded the morning and caused the dawn to know its place;caused it to rain;created the rivers, thunder and lightning;provided the raven his food;created all the beasts and gave the horse its strength;taught the hawk to fly;made both man and behemoth;defeated the leviathan , a many-headed chaos monster of creation.A fourth biblical creation storySome scholars see a further creation story in Genesis chapter 5, which appears to be a summary of the second story, but differs from it in key aspects.

Darwin's theory states that we evolved from microbes and only the fittest survived. The biblical view of creation states that everything on earth was created by God exactly as it is.The Biblical view does not actually disagree with Darwin's theory, contrary to certain sectarian religious teachings. On the contrary, the legitimate Biblical view is that the creation accounts were allegorical in nature. Only one particular narrow, literalistic interpretation at definite odds with reality insists all creatures were fashioned within one six day window.
