Three new delegates to the Second Continental Congress in May 1775 were John Hancock, Bejamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson.
There were three meetings of colonial delegates. The First and Second Continental Congress and the Constitutional Convention.
As a solution to this dispute, delegates agreed to what was called the Three-Fifths Compromise.
