They [American Girl place] has gotten rid of now three historical characters. Named Felicity & Elizabeth, Samantha & Nellie and Kirsten.

There is a new doll coming her name is Rebbecca!

Yes Rebbecca Rubin is the newest American girl doll. But I see that who ever asked this wants to know the NEXT ,there is a rumor that this is the new doll that will come in 2010 to "replace"Kirsten. Here's what I found out. I don't own it (This MAY or MAY NOT be true)

Megan Duger, 2004

Megan is an only child living in Parsippany , New Jersey during the period of the events of the 9/11 attacks and The War on Terrorism. Megan's father is in the war in Iraq as a soldier, Megan is staying with her aunt uncle and two cousins while her father is away. Megan tries to do her part to win the war by making everyone cherry and hopeful determined that the war will end very soon. Her mother was killed in the 9/11 attacks because she worked in the world trade center in the second tower on the 47th floor. In the fourth book "Megan and the Party" it mentioned that Megan's middle name is "Michelle". Her best friend is "Andrea Ward", she will most likely be released around the same time as Megan, Andrea will be the second best friend doll to be released with the original doll (Julie & Ivy) where the first). Megan has strawberry blond hair with freckles black outlined glasses, she is the second doll in the series to have glasses (Molly was the first). Megan's meet outfit is a red t-shirt that says Hollister on it in white words navy blue old navy jeans with a sliver chain on the right side of her waist light blue and white sneakers with pink and red socks a pink purse with light green hexagons stitched on it and a golden locket with a little red diamond in the middle with a picture of her mother in side. Her six core book series do not follow the traditional historical titling pattern (Kaya, Julie, and Rebecca, were the first three).

Her six books are: Meet Megan, Megan's Project, Megan's Mistletoe, Megan and the Party, Megan and the Scotsman, Changes for Megan

Sounds real. But 2004?! Historical character?Oh well! who knows.....
