It is said that there are "subliminal messages" in most Disney movies. For example, Aladdin, Lion King, and even The Wizard of Oz! Look it up on youtube...sometimes, it's really hard to believe that stuff. So just check for yourself and see what you think. Just go to youtube.com and type "Disney subliminal messages"
AnswerYes, Disney himself intended to place subliminal messaging in all of his films. Words such as "sex" is shown above Simab's head in a scene for a split second, implying the message in your brain.AnswerThis is an urban legend. Walt Disney did NOT intend to place subliminal messages in his films. There are NO subliminal messages in the Lion King, Aladdin, or any other Disney movies. The only exception is the Rescuers -- at one point, you can see a picture of a woman's breasts in the background. Other than that, these claims of subliminal messages in Disney films are completely false. See the Related Link below for the snopes.com pages that debunk all these urban legends about Disney films.

It depends on which cartoon. Some cartoons, like many Disney movies, have many wholesome messages and are entertaining (minus the alleged subliminal messages). If you don't believe in the subliminal messages, then kids should watch these cartoons. Some cartoons are for pure entertainment, like Spongebob. Toddlers should not be allowed to watch these for too long, but older kids (like 7+) can watch in moderation. Some are very violent, obscene and graphic, like many seinen animes. Kids should not be anywhere near these.

See the related question "What messages are hidden in Disney movies?" and the Snopes articles for further explanation of each claim.
Hidden messages are found in numerous Disney films, according to many websites. Further information can be found at 'Yahoo' or 'Cracked' dot com for example. However there are several other similar websites in addition to these.
