The Childrens Crusade was in 1212 (approx). It was lead by a French Shepard Boy who said that God had told him in a dream to go to Jerusalem. The Children believed that because they were small and cute that they would get listened to. It was a disaster. Many kids died and those who didn't were tricked and they were sold as slaves.
The First Crusade could be said that it was a victory of sorts for the Crusaders.
They won the first crusade.
Richard the Lionhearted didn't win. Saladin won. He did make a treaty with the Christians though. They could make the pilgrimage to Jerusalem and enter the city unarmed.
