The COLD WAR was a "Non-Shooting War", in which numbers counted; who had the most countries would win. If the communists won, they had an added country (nation) to their empire. If the US/Allies won, we had a "Free" nation (country) on our side. When Communist NORTH Vietnam conquered the "Free" Republic of South Vietnam in 1975, the Communist Superpowers (Soviet Union/Red China) had Another Country to add to their "Communist Block" of nations. The free world had to subtract one country.
A military officer that fought in the Vietnam War. A Vietnam War soldier would be a "soldier that fought in the Vietnam War.
vietnam
The Republic of South Vietnam did not benefit; they became extinct. The allies that supported RVN gained valuable military experience; especially in the field of aerial super-sonic jet warfare.
Vietnam
The F22 Raptor would only have smart weapons and no guns on it had not been for the Vietnam war.
why did the federalists believe that they would benefit from the war with france
Certainly. A war is determined explicitly by the presence of conflict. If there was not conflict in Vietnam, there would not have been a war.
Not being activated and deployed was a big benefit.
Vietnam has never had a civil war. The closest you could get would be the Vietnam War, which was fought between the separate although related countries of North and South Vietnam (along with the allies of each side).
Q who was the victor of the Vietnam war? A I have no idea who won the Vietnam war!!!!
I don't think there would be communism in North+South Vietnam anymore...that was the cause of the war.
No, the Vietnam War was in Vietnam
