this fight would be close, even doh the ridgeback head is not as big as the dog de bordeaux,
i think it would still win, these ridgeback dogs are fighters and will not back down,
and just like the akita, they will take the fight to another breed of dog,
the american akita and the ridgeback is capable of beating all breeds of pittbull and bulldogs,

∙ 12y agoa ridge back would win a fight with a flock of American bull dogs or pit bulls ridgbacks are extremly strong and have the same bite force as an American grey wolf and remember they use these dogs to hunt and bay African lions.

my rhodesian ridgeback can run at a over 30mph. when he is behind my car if i don't set off perfect in my focus tdci he will pass me. at 8stone that's moving I would say a RR's top speed is somewhere in the between 20 to 25mph. That is from my experience owning them and using gps to track there speeds My female Ridgeback races me on my bicycle, I could go no faster than 30.6 MPH Where she is way ahead! So I got my motorbike out to test her and her absolute fastest is 42 MPH, this was for a very short time. My sister also has a Ridgeback and he chased a lifeguard along the beach on his quad bike and he confirmed that he was riding at 40mph.

no because akita is areally strong dog and they are fighting dogs. people think that pit bull is really strong but they are not. akita have a wolf blood too. i have an akita and belive me they are more strong than you imagin. sorry for me bad English. nah dude pits are stronger there also very closey related to grey wolfs and are faster even on this site i saw they said akitas aren't used as fight dogs as much as pitbulls and that pits were found to be more efficent fighters and also don't fight these dogs its not cool

Akita will probably win. My female akita had a pitbul run at her and lock onto her neck. Akita's have thick fur and tough skin so it works as armor. So a pitbul would just be biting fur. Then my akita shook her head and the pitbul flipped over and then she jumped on it with her strength and snapped it's neck and killed it. Imagine what my big male akita who took on 3 big great danes and won could have done to the pitbul. I would say the Akita 100%. It depends on the dog though but usially the akita is going to win.
