Guru Gobind Singh Ji compiled the Guru Granth Sahib and bestowed Guruship on it, so we would not expect another human Guru. Interestingly, even though Guru Gobind Singh was a wonderful writer and poet, he did not put his work in the Guru Granth Sahib. The Guru Granth Sahib does contain the work of six other Sikh Gurus though. The Guru Granth Sahib is set as a musical city . The six Sikh Gurus whose musical verses are in the Guru Granth Sahib all call themselves Nanak but also refer to their verses as numbered gates or streets, so you know if the fifth Nanak wrote it or the ninth and so on.
Many of the guru's wrote the Guru Granth Sahib but since it has passed around many people added to it. The main person who wrote it was the last guru, Guru Gobind Singh. Here is a website that might give you more information:http://atschool.eduweb.co.uk/carolrb/sikhism/sikhism1.html

The Guru Granth Sahib is the embodiment of all the of previous gurus, Guru Gobind Singh Ji commanded that the Guru Granth Sahib be our guru after him. The Guru Granth Sahib isn't though of as a book, it is thought of as a Guru, a person. Notice that the Guru Granth Sahib does not have page number, but aangs (body parts). As every indiviudual has a room in which they sleep, the Guru Granth Sahib has a room to rest in as well.
There are lots of Guru Granth Sahib even in England
Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the Guru of Sikhs and thus hold the highest importance for Sikhs when it comes to the matter of religion as Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the authority of the Sikhs.
