The Qur'an was originally written in Arabic. As for who the scribe who put ink to parchment, there is no clear identity for this person according to Muslim sources. While Muhammad dictated the Qur'an through divine revelation, he never actually wrote it down. Different accounts hold that Caliph Othman or even later rulers finally put the Qur'an down in ink. Secular Historians are not sure of even where or when the Qur'an was first finalized, never mind who would have done it.
