Lithium holds were found unprecedented for India, the public power pronounced on 9 February. Lithium stores were found during an examination by the Geological Outline of India (GSI) in the Reasi region of Jammu and Kashmir.
Mines Secretary Vivek Bhardwaj said, "Lithium stores have been found strangely, and that too in Jammu and Kashmir."
"We have re-arranged our examination tries towards huge and crucial minerals and this divulgence is a statement to our undertakings," Bhardwaj expressed in view of a request from the media.
