Rock got stuck under the hood in the latch release.
Looking through my data all 2.0 Hyundai's appear to have the timing marks adjacent to the front pulley the timing is ECU controlled and not manually adjustable I hope this helps a little Best wishes Mike
Usually every Hyundai Elantra will have a button you can push for the gas tank. However, if it won't open, there is a spot in the trunk for a wire and you can disconnect it so you will be able to manually open it
There may be a place near the gear shift to insert a screwdriver and 'unlock' the gears manually. Possibly a blown fuse created the problem.
This is my first question, and I'm not too sure how to add details, so I'll put them here. Basically, I want to manually shift it because it bogs down a lot. I don't want to race around in it, just drive it like a normal manual transmission. I want to know if this will damage anything such as the shifter cable, OD button, or transmission itself.
Most cars have some sort of device inside the trunk that allows you to open the fuel filler door manually. Look behind the location of the door in the trunk.
That engine is an interference engine. If you try to turn the camshaft while the timing belt is removed the valves will make contact with the pistons. If you try to force the cam to turn you will do serious damage.
Try first with Trans-X, transmission additive before go to shop major repairs

The size of the replacement wiper blades for a 2005 Hyundai Accent is different for the driver side and passenger side. For the driver side, it is 20' inches and for the passenger it is 18 inches.
