The blower motor fuse protects the blower motor electrical circuit. The blower motor relay operates only the high speed function of the blower motor. The blower motor speed resistor operates the lower speed functions of the blower motor.
Defective blower motor, blower motor resistor pack, or blower motor speed control switch.
If you are saying the blower motor will not work, then check the fuse. If the fuse is not blown, then it is possibly a defective Blower Motor Resistor Pack, blower motor, or blower motor speed control switch, in that order. If you are saying the blower motor will not work, then check the fuse. The resister for the 2001 prism blower motor drops voltage to the blower motor. This is how the blower motor runs at a lower speed.
yes indeed
Sounds like your Blower motor resister, it controls the voltage to your blower motor, controlling the speeds, if you always have it on high, med ect. that speed is more likly to burn out first
The blower resistor controls the speeds of the blower motor Hi-resistance lower motor speed Lo-resistance higher motor speed
The blower motor speed resistor is burned out. The high speed function bypasses the resistor. The speed resistor is generally located near to the blower motor.
The most common cause of the blower only working in high is the blower motor resistor…. I don't recall exactly where it is on a liberty but it should be somewhere behind or underneath the glove box…. It adds resistance to lessen the speed of the motor until you put it on the high setting then it gets straight battery voltage…. I hope this helps you out
The blower motor high speed relay is located under the hood, on the passenger side firewall close to the blower motor. The blower motor speed resistor is also located in that same area.
there is a resistor that controls the speed and should be near the blower motor its called blower motor resistor
Blower motor speed resistors are generally located close to the blower motor.
