Jeff Hardy lost his match to CM Punk, and was subsequently removed from the WWE per match stipulation. However, you must remember that scenarios such as this are kayfabe. They are set in place to first of all allow the wrestler or diva to deal with personal life, health, family, and are even set in place to cover up injury, retirement and vacations. He was released in 2006 from TNA for no showing to events. On August 4, 2006, WWE announced that Hardy had re-signed with the company. On March 11, 2008 Hardy was suspended for 60 days due to his second violation of the company's Substance Abuse & Drug Testing Policy. Which all was before he left the WWE with his kayfabe stipulation on August 28, 2010. This he left for health and wellness issues. He began having talks with TNA, and the WWE was kept in the loop and still express interest in Hardy return to the company; and wish him the best in all his endeavors. Hardy chose TNA because the company revamped since its initial launch. The main reason Jeff Hardy jumped to TNA is the work schedule and is at the point where he doesn't want to deal with the grueling WWE travel schedule. In TNA, he can still remain a top star in the industry and make great money while working and traveling far less.
