Because The Bible says it is unclean so it is not allowed to be eaten. you also aren't supposed to touch there dead body this says clearly in the bible the book of Deuteronomy chapter 14 verse 3 to 21.

The pig is regarded by Islam as a ritually unclean animal, which is an idea that already existed in Judaism long before it was adopted by Islam. There are a number of theories about why the pig is regarded as ritually unclean; I can tell you three of them. It is sometimes suggested that this was a shrewd policy, adopted to avoid the parasitic infections that can be transmitted by meat from pigs, if it has not been adequately cooked. Pigs can be a source of tapeworm and trichinosis. It was suggested by the late Christopher Hitchens that the similarity between pigs and people, particular in terms of the flavor of the meat (note that human flesh, when eaten by cannibals, is often euphemistically referred to as "long pig") reminds people uncomfortably of cannibalism. And finally, pigs are remarkably indiscriminate in their own eating habits, and they may eat things that people find disgusting. Exactly which of these 3 explanations you find most convincing is up to you, but personally I think it is the third. Or, possibly, all three have played some role in the way people, and Muslims in particular, think about pigs.
