Terai is called the granary house of Nepal because it land structure, topography, region, is very good. Aslo the land is fertile, smooth, plain. Many people live in terai for vegation, cultivation, etc. Cultivation is not possible in Mountain region and Hilly region because the land form of those region is not good mountain region is cold desert an Hilly region is moderate region so more cultivation is not possible in those region. So, Terai is known as the granary house of Nepal.
