Lymphomas are malignant neoplasms originating in the bone marrow and lymphatic structures resulting in the proliferation of lymphocytes.

Hodgkin's Disease

It enlarges your cervical, axillary, or inguinal lymph nodes. The person diagnosed may experience weight loss, fatigue, weakness, night sweats. EVen small ingestions of alcohol can cause rapid onset of pain at the site of the disease.

Hepatomegaly (Enlarged Liver) and Splenomegaly (Enlarged Spleen).

Anemia from increased distruction and decrease production of erythrocytes (red blood cells).

Other physical signs depend on where the disease is location.

Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (NHLs)

is the most commonly occurring hematological cancer and fifth leading cause of cancer death. In Canada, approximately 25,000 people die due to NHL each year.

It originates outside of the nodes , and how it spreads is unpredictable. The prognosis for NHL is generally not as good in comparison to Hodgkin's Disease.
