Because what Birth Control pills do is they contain the hormones estrogen and progestin but in synthetic forms. what this does is stabilize the woman's hormone levels so that mid-way during her cycle her estrogen level won't hit its peak, because when it hit its peak, there is a bump and other hormones are released which cause your ovaries to release eggs, you ovulate and you bleed. the pills prevent that estrogen bump so that no hormones are released, your uterine wall is supported more (because we bleed because our uterine wall is shedding), and you don't ovulate. So the reason why you're bleeding after missing 3 days of pills is because that synthetic estrogen and progestin isn't being produced so you're getting those hormones that will cause your uterine wall to shed, you to ovulate, and you to bleed.
I stopped taking my birth control in December and in January I came on my period but in february I didnt come is this normal
It means that your period came early. That's it, no more complicated than that. Also FYI on hormonal birth control you don't menstruate, you get a withdrawal bleed.
You should go see your doc.
Should I stop birth control if my tests came back negative, but I still feel pregnant, but haven't missed a period yet?
This is normal with birth control. You will have a period anytime within the 7 days of the last pills.

Go to the doctor
Irregular periods are often perfectly normal, but not always. If you have not been using another form of birth control, and you have been sexually active, it is wise to have a pregnancy test. Spotting similar to a period can happen in pregnancy. Did you have regular periods before going on the shot? If so, your period will usually normalize after a while. See a physician to be certain of the cause of your irregular periods.
you should be fine.
Yes, if you're not using birth control, you can get pregnant, even before your first post-implant period.
